Unlock Orders

A feature was recently added to the site which allows you to unlock orders without contacting the Safeguard Help Desk or waiting two hours for the order unlock automatically.

 

If an order becomes locked in SafeView - Preserve, you can now release the lock by following the steps below.

 

How to Unlock Orders

  1. Return to the Order Details screen for the order that is locked and click the Resume Update button.

  2. The "Update In Progress" pop-up window will appear.

  3. Click the new “Release Lock” button.

     

  4. A confirmation pop-up will appear.

  5. Before you click the OK button, please be sure that no one else from your office is updating the order. If someone else is updating the order, he or she will be kicked out of the update once you unlock it.

  6. Click OK to release the lock.

     

  7. If someone else in your office was updating the order before you released the lock, he or she will see the following message when attempting to go to the next screen:
